Erich, you picked a good first Broadway show. I was in this. What I wouldn't give to have this show back again. lol What are Goosebumps Audio Books, anyway?
It was 1976, and for my 11th birthday my parents got me tickets to see "The Magic Show" with Doug Henning, because I was really into magic (and Doug's birthday was 4 days before mine). The actual trip was in the summer, (I remember it as July).
And magic fell by the wayside as a hobby in favor of theatre. Just one of the many sparks that led to me being an actor. (Sadly, I can't even palm a coin decently anymore)....
I grew up in Connecticut, so there were lots of other shows during my adolescence, (mostly high school field trips), which I am eternally grateful for, but I still remember that first one very clearly.
