Posted: 6/18/05 at 3:15pmThis board seems to get more responses than the West End board, so I thought I'd post this here too: I bought restricted view seats for "Mary Poppins" (because they were the cheapest) and I was wondering if anyone knew about the view of the stage from that area. Would I miss anything?

I have linked for you the 'seats to buy/avoid' page for the Prince Edward Theatre. This site called Theatremonkey was a very valuable tool when we ordered tickets for shows at Christmas.
Thie chap really goes into great detail about the seating plans for all the London West end venues.
Enjoy the show! Oh, and the Prince Edward is a beautiful theatre. So is the Palace where WOMAN IN WHITE is playing.

Posted: 6/21/05 at 8:15amI completely agree with ThoroughlyModernEmily... I got a restricted view seat for Mary Poppins when I was over in London in January, and I saw everything perfectly. The "bar in your way" thing also applied to me, but, honestly, it was barely there.
