On the SITPWG 2017 revival cast recording during “Sunday,” I love Jake Gyllenhaal’s way of singing the “bum bum bum”s. It’s so calming and beautiful.

The Phantom of the Opera at Royal Albert Hall cast recording- During “Masquerade,” the chorus sings “Stop and stare at the sea of smiles around you” and forgive me, I don’t know who does it (if it’s an ensemble member or if it’s Andre or Firmin) but whoever.. does a little laugh on the “around you” and it always makes me smile. It’s so cute and it’s such a little delightful touch (at the 1:14 mark).

Next to Normal- “Patient stable.” the last line in “My Psychopharmacologist and I.” Chills. Terribly heartbreaking. Just the way he delivers it.

Ragtime- During “President,” when Audra McDonald sings, “and I’m not much of a TALKERRRRRR” Oooh hit that high note girl!!!

...and “Your Daddy’s Son”... I mean really that whole song on the OBC C’MON it’s beautiful!! Such an amazing song ugh. But when Audra sings, “I buried my heart in the GROOOOOOUND”
