Beth Leavel told me at the stage of No No Nanette that she is not going to be in Billy Elliot. I guess she could of meant that the role just wasn't offered to her yet, but she seemed pretty positive that she was not going to be in it. She also said that I wasn't the first person to ask and that apparently it was written somewhere online.

Ive seen it in London 3 times now. and love it so much. I dont know about Betty Buckley. I know people think im crazy but Im thinking Elaine Stritch could be amazing as the grandma.
