Actors' Fund housing

Anyone on here live in the Aurora at 57th/10th? Or know anyone who does? I was just curious as to what kind of waitlist in involved in getting in there, how long between when you applied and when you got in. (There is no estimated waitlist time listed on the FAQ on the Aurora website, and I'm not really finding anything through Google either.)

Yes, my dad's girlfriend lives there. Waitlist is years long. I filled out at application ages ago, there are soo many qualifications you need to get in there.
Since a lot of actors live in the building, they have a board with temp sublets if people are out of town for a few months. Then if you do that, you have an in to move in to the building. But I don't think many people leave, ever.

Yeah I figured it was a place where nobody ever moved out of once they got in, just curious if anyone ever actually really managed to get in... Thanks for that sublet info, though- I hadn't read anything about any of that anywhere. Not that I am interested in a sublet, but still it's good to know!
