avatar issues

I can't upload my new avatar, any idea why? It's a jpeg, like it's supposed to be, but I get a wierd error message when I try to put it up.

That happened to me today too. Wait a while and try again. Eventually it worked for me.

that happens to me ALL the time! So I cant use my icons!

Thanks, but it's later and still is giving me problems. This is the error message I get in the lower right-hand corner of my screen, purple box.

Error occurred in tag CFX_IMAGE
Unexpected error occurred while processing tag.
The cause of this error is yet unknown.

Does this help any? What does it all mean? The help suggestions made no sense.

Have you tried saving the picture to your computer? A lot of sites won't let you take links from their sites anymore. That's been the case with all the avatars I've used here. Just save it to your personal file and it should work.

Yeah, it's on my harddrive. My last avatar worked fine.

I had this problem the other day, and turned out I had to resize the thing before it worked. Who knew - size DOES matter!

WannaBDiva! *shocked gasp* You're so risque.

The avatars have a width limit of one hundred pixels, so if you're having trouble, try resizing the picture so it's one hundred-by-whatever.
