Anyone else get this??
It's actually REALLY good - though I'm not sure that I'm fit to judge it as I know little about opera. On the level that I enjoyed the music a lot though, I thought it definitely succeeded. The story is kind of complex, and the plot in the book was so small it hurt to read that much text that was so small.

Still, I have to wonder who the target audience is here. I personally love Pink Floyd (especially The Wall and Dark Side), and I've always thought I'd like opera a lot more if I just understood it! And, of course, I love musicals. But how many people like me ARE there??
