Exactly. That's why I picked it up to begin with. I also want to read Lord of the Flies and re-read Brave New World. (I'm a nerd - NOW you see why IB was so fantastic for me??)

Dorks a feather flock together! Trust me, if you'd rather read books like this than Cosmo magazine (not that there's anything wrong with Cosmo! At all!), IB will be a dream for you. You get to analyze books and prose, poetry, etc. to DEATH but it's great.

Yay! I love analyzing, I do way too much of it anyway.

I get the girly magazines, I read the makeup tips, laugh at whatever celebrity is on the cover, then take them in for art class to get pictures to draw.

The only magazines I read are Entertainment Weekly and Premiere, and I find myself not being interested in them as much anymore.

Magazines are kinda dull. I do like the pictures though, great for drawing.

Yep, I'm a subscriber to EW and I buy Premiere every month. I wish I still had my ShowPeople subscription though.

The website kinda sucks. No real information. Basically think of Premiere magazine, but with theatre. It has, you know, interviews with actors, reviews of shows, articles, gossip, party photos, and it's Vanity Fair-ish in the sense that the featured actors model hot clothes to publicizeexpensive designers with thousand dollar dresses (the Wicked photo shoot comes to mind). And Hugh Jackman has a damn hot cover.

What subject is that? For final projects, I had to do 2 world lit in english, an extended essay (i did it in history), a big math project, a big theatre project....

Seriously, I wouldn't say IB was fun, but it was really rewarding and it helped me a LOT (especially to prep myself for the college work load). The extended essay was the first time I pulled an all-nighter, and THAT really got me ready for college! (I started researching and writing it a few days before it was due and got 3 points out of 3!)

Are you graduating this year from it, Nina?
