Doxy is Clumsy - hurts leg AGAIN!

Hey guys,

Don't know if anyone remembers the saga of my broken leg, though I think some people may remember the disgusting pictures of it that I posted.

Well, yesterday I managed to trip on an uneven pavement, and guess what, I badly sprained my GOOD LEG! Isn't that exciting?

I hate my luck...

I'm a good little boy. I give money to poor people, avoid buying from big corporations if I can buy from a private business, and try to be honest with people...

It's okay, I didn't win the $40m lottery on Wednesday, or the $12m lottery today. I think it's because I've really botched my karma though. Have I ever told you about my bad travel karma??

How did I like Sweeney Todd? Well, the cast is very, very strong - both the leads and the supporting actors. The score and book was pretty good. I liked Act 2 more than Act 1. I found Act 1 hard to follow at times, and a bit dry, but the momentum really picked up closer to intermission. (I suppose the actors are just happy to finally have 15 minutes of rest after being on stage the entire time!)

Which version did you see? With Lansbury and Hearn, Lupone and Hearn or Lupone And Cerveris?

Yeah, I'm still not so sure about this revival, though I think it could be fantastic. I would have preferred you to start with Lansbury though. Nobody's Lovett can compare to hers.

I remember those pics Big Blues.
I hope your sprain heals quickly.
I know a lot about breaks and sprains.
I had one break (left foot) and four sprains (right ankle).
From now on take good care!

BTW - saw Lansbury twice on Broadway with Cariou and once at Kennedy Center with Hearn. Lansbury was the best!
