ok...so, the job i was gonna take screwed me over, so im looking for any kind of work here in NYC...anyone know of anything. I have a degree, and am willing to do anything at this point...cater, office work, temp. PM me any ideas y'all have.

Touchme, I'm job hunting too although not in NYC. I would second the suggestions for craigslist and monster...two very good sites. Also, do a google search fro recruitment agencies and temp agencies in your area. Temp work is always available and can often lead to a permenant job. If noting else, it gives you an income while you're looking. .

Well, I just got online after being here for a week...finally got connected. I know both of those sites...but, it seems like the best way to get a job is to know someone, which is why I posted here...so all my local NYC folks could see and keep an ear out if something in their offices becomes available. I had two jobs lined up when I came to NYC, but through a long, annoying "only in NYC" series of events, they both fell through. Grrr.

Anyway, everyone keep your ears open for me!! =)
