Posted: 7/2/05 at 2:31ami've heard amazing things about it from the press, and i cannot wait to see it! i most likely won't get to see it until it comes to dvd though, unless i go to dallas or austin sometime soon. i'm glad to hear it wasn't just "hype" but that you guys found it genuinely moving. you guys who are going to see it soon, post some reviews!

This past weekend, playing on only 64 screens, MARCH OF THE PENGUINS came in number 13 at the box office - with a per screen average of just under $16,000, which was the highest (beating even the number one movie!) I'm so happy this film is being embraced by so many
FYI - within the next two weeks, it is scheduled to have expanded to around 500 screens nationwide.

That's EXACTLY what I thought when I saw Winged Migration. March of the Penguins is showing at the Loews Esquire and the Music Box in Chicago, so I will definitely check this out.

I saw this film last week and was totally blown away. There was a point in the film where I suddenly thought "Why is my face all wet?" and I realized I had been crying for about 5 minutes.

redhot -I found that word especially apropos in describing this film. Mainly because it was such a surprise.
DAME - Not a good 420 film. I recommend Songs From the Second Floor as a very good 420 film.
