Posted: 12/29/04 at 3:34pmAn Oscar also improves your name recognition which gives you marquee value to be cast to win a Tony....

"There are no do-overs or second takes in theater you're judged by your raw talent. "
Other than weeks of rehearsals and previews, not to mention possibly hundreds of performances to judge from, sure, theater's a one-shot and go.

Tony
But, hell, with my lack of talent any award would be nice...even an NTA...

On the "aspirations" page of my senior yearbook from high school, I am quoted as saying:
"I want an Oscar, an Emmy, a Tony, a Grammy, and a good pair of Valentino shoes."
(In retrospect, I'd like to swap the shoes for a Matt Damon.)

i set a goal for myself to beat out Adrian Brody as the youngest to ever win best actor, but i only have about 6 more years the most to get the movie made, so i just may have to wait and win the Oscar at a later time.
Emmy is mine no matter what. thank you bg2 for passing her up to me
