Question About Course Offering

So my mom wants me to look at state colleges for musical theatre. I live in Massachusetts. This morning I was looking at University of Massachusetts Amherst at there theatre performance major course offering and listed is beginning and advanced voice. I know this may seem like a stupid question, but do you think they mean true voice (as in singing) or more like dialect and diction? Since it is not listed as a musical theatre program.

Yay Massachusetts!!! =)
UMASS AMHERST--DOES NOT HAVE A MUSICAL THEATRE MAJOR!!!!!!
They have theatre but not strictly musical theatre as a MAJOR
I would look at BU, Emerson, Boston Conservatory, more focused schools like that. They aren't state colleges, but....they're better for theatre =)
