I thought I had a cold in December. I didn't go to the doctor until my mom forced me 2 weeks later. I ended up having bronchitis, a sinus infection and a stomach virus. Fun stuff.

I'm sorry, Mel. Birthdays should not be occasions for tears. We all wish you a wonderful year and happy birthday, anyway.

CS, do you have a roommate or someone like that around to help if you do get worse? I wouldn't want you to wait until you feel so bad that it's really difficult to get to a doctor. Hopefully you start feeling better soon, of course.

they sat there embaressing me the whole time, making little comments. They completely ruined my birthday, i hate them.

Aww Mel, I'm sorry. I know how you feel. I've come to despise holidays because thats when the entire family comes over and all they do is make fun of me. My uncle practically made me cry this Christmas Eve and then told my mom the next week that I was a mess and that he didn't do anything to make me upset. And a few Thanksgivings ago they threw me in the pool in my nice clothes when it was about 40 degrees outside, but that's another story.

Hope you feel better, CS!

My mom had her birthday party yesterday at her parents' house, and all of our extended family was there.

When it was time to serve the birthday cake, my grandma served it on her own grandmother's china. My sister was carrying hers into the kitchen to eat it (at the kids table ) and dropped the plate on the floor and it broke. My grandma completely flipped out, yelled and told my sister that she hates her. My mom got upset that she would say something like that and walked out of her own party. Today, my sister told me that my mom is so pissed that she said she's not speaking with my grandma and to hang up on her if she calls.

Family drama sucks.

Oy. Someone who posted earlier that they think Inappropo is funny because the person above them said it was "sooo funny" just said now they're scared to know what Anthony thinks of it, because that's what the people above them said. If you thought it was that funny, then you wouldn't be worried he might think it's creepy.

Emcee, they're sheep. Someone posts something and they say it's funny. Someone else objects to it and they say it's creepy. If I went and posted about how hot it was, they'd probably change their opinion again. It's like they're just trying to make friends with everyone on the board by agreeing with them instead of forming their own opinions.
