Is there one? I have not heard of one and seeing as I unfortunately don't get to nyc very often and I would love to see this show, I was just wondering if there is a tour right now.

There is no tour for Q and there won't be any time in the near future; they're opening up a second location (I guess that's the best word for it?) in Las Vegas instead.

There is a tour. It's called "Lets go to Las Vegas and people can tour here to come see it."

There is also a rumor of a possible Chicago engagement.

I thought one of the stipulations of the Las Vegas deal was that it wouldn't play anywhere else in North America.

This is just a rumor and something that was being considered for much later in the future. It's not going to happen any time soon.

The Las Vegas run was why people had such a fit when it won Best Musical and then like two days later it announced it would no longer tour.

WYNNLasVegas, a very large hotel complex, which is opening on April 28 is building a 1200 seater - theatre ( called BROADWAY) for AVENUE Q. It is expected to open there in the fall.

Just got confirmation...the rumor of a Chicago engagement was just that, a rumor. There will be no Chicago engagement of AVENUE Q.

Yeah. I remember a lot of people being upset about that. But that's what happens. Avenue Q will tour soon enough....

I don't remember where it was and I can't find it, but there was something saying something like:

Avenue Q will be in Vegas starting in September hopefully. There are new puppets being made for that show and it's not yet known who, if any of the OBC is going to Vegas.
It was also stated something like "Avenue Q will only be on Broadway and in Vegas...you will have to come to the Avenue, the Avenue is not traveling to you." It was something like that...although I don't remember exactly.

i know of a couple people who have been to rick's puppet camp if training as either replacemnts for broadway or the LV show....

I heard that if any of the OBC goes out to Vegas it would be for a limited engagement only~ But recently i've been hearing that the OBC will only go out to train the new actors/puppeteers. I doubt any of them will leave to star in the Vegas production, but word is that the Vegas cast is going to be incredible as well.
