Tiff.
You need to change the style.
Post it in the title of the thread.
And PM those people.
And then, eat some lo mein!
Why I ventured into this thread is beyond me. I missed round one. Anywhere to hear the entries?
Would the conservative dude winning mean the end for gay marriage in Canada as well as other recent advances on a variety of issues?
Ebonic, your voice has a nice tone. I think the recording suffers from live performance pushing and some pitch problems. And you definitely not helped by a bad and out of tune chorus. I would like to hear a more professional recording that was not done at a live performance.
jrb- great job. love your voice.

Timote- good job... a little nasaly, at some points, and it's not my fav. song, but you did a good job with it. congrats.

This is a really strong group so far. VERY impressive.
SPIDER! You rock!
I'm going to be the weakest in this group, I know it.
Jac- I'll be your mimi.....
JAC--As always, I bow before your feet.
Ps. Thanks everyone for the comments.
so far, am in awe of group 1. props to all of u!!
I'm almost up!
By the way, my bio is still slashed through. It makes me sad.
Aigoo- Better than before. But you need to work on diction and taking more control over your voice. Once you work through that, it will be great.
Everytime you mentioned "It Takes Two," I thought you'd figured out a way to turn the duet from Into the Woods into a solo. Then I asked myself, "How is Sondheim Pop/Rock"? This makes more sense.
to one of you.
And that's ALL I'm gonna say.
I WISH it was "It Takes Two" from Into The WOODS, it would have automatically gotten my vote. As it is, I found it passable but still too "boy band" for my tastes as well.
And Allie, that is UNzip.
spider - I THINK it is!
Go Adam!
You have a very pretty voice, MFL. Get some training and a few years of maturity on you and you'll be a force to reckon with!
I love this song, by the way. My love for Wildhorn is my dirtiest secret.
It seems like none of you took Tiff's GREAT, CONSTRUCTIVE advice from last week.
1. "God Save the People", Godspell – Ebonic_Singer
Yeah, shut up, you rock. Now, to break that Shoshana habit...
2. “Wake Me Up When September Ends”, Green Day – jrb_actor
Honestly, I haven't listened yet. It isn't working right. I'll listen another time.
3. “Mr. Cellophane”, Chicago – Timote
The song isn't one of those - knock 'em over numbers...I don't think you lived up to the little potential of the song. You were good. Nothing stand out. But, like I said, it's hard to stand out with this song. (Though I love it in the show.)
4. “Sunday Morning”, Maroon 5- Spiderdj82
Not BAD at all! Hint: You may want to lower the backing track. If you need help, PM me.
5. “Your Eyes”, Rent – JACXR71
Not as strong as I would have liked, but pretty good.
6. “Fallin’”, Alicia Keys – Aigoo
I lost track of when you were singing and when Alicia was singing. Though you gave me a heart attack at the beginning. It was a nice reminder I have a heart!
7. “It Takes Two”, Hairspray – Link Larkin Wanabe
Seems you found your niche in turning EVERY thing into pop. You should try to break it though.
8. "Once Upon A Dream", Jekyll & Hyde - My Fair Lady
Passable. Keep working at it. Take some voice lessons to fix your diction a bit and to work on your upper register.
