Hey Elffy and BWW -- I was just about to start a new thread. What a funky night in Motown, Wings, Tigers and some other guys all at home the same night. Wings, Tigers WOW, other guys sucked.

well Yawper, I just don't want the Pistons to blow it again....time for another Championship.

Rare to have all three in town. Funny that the only Detroit area (can one call A2 Detroit area) team I don't like is Michigan......but we spanked em hard last year 39-7, so I was happy.

Elphaba-I don't think you can really consider A2 as part of the Detroit area.

I'm a Michigan sports girl, born and raised, and I am extremely happy that the Wings won last night. I'm also hoping that the Pistons can make a comeback.

then Dancin, don't include it, lol...but I will. Wayy too many of my former coworkers commuted from A2 every day, so to me, it is.....lovely town, but damn those college kids jaywalk!

Well those flightless birds didn't exactly do that final March of the Penguins yet, did they?

Is it true that the champaign had already been popped when the Pens snatched the Cup from the Redwings in that final 35 seconds of the third period?

What a game! Three overtimes. Three! And whatever they're paying Marc-Andre Fleury, it isn't enough!

I Watched the game last night. I'm a Bruins fan but I want the Pens to win it all.

Marc-Andre Fleury was AMAZING, especially in the first OT.

I'm so glad they have sudden death in the playoffs. Shoot-outs are lame.

The towel waving reminded me of a Per?nist rally. I kept chanting "Evita!" whenever they'd pan to the crowds. - SM2

I am a Flyers fan and I have a strong dislike for the Pens so I was happy to see the Red Wings win last night in Pittsburg...although the last minute was the most exciting hockey I have seen in this series
