Dracula the musical

Does anyone know when the cd for Dracula is said to be released? The show has been open for more then two weeks and still nothing. I really want to hear the music especially being a big fan of Jekyll and Hyde and The Scarlet Pimpernel.. thanks

It takes awhile for a CD to come out. Often, the cast records the CD the Monday after opening (or that's what I've heard...), but definitely not always. And from there they have to, you know, do whatever they do to make the CDs. Wicked opened in October and their OCR came out in December, which is the fastest I've ever heard. Others take a lot longer, and I'm pretty sure Assassins didn't go into the studio until after they had been opened for awhile.

Thanks.. just to me.. I found it wierd that Bombay Dreams and even BARE had music avaliable before it opened.. but I guess it's because they both were opened in other places.. thanks!!

They have not recorded the soundtrack yet.
