Is there still talk about it happening? Will the movie cause Broadway producers to have second thoughts on producing a revival?

It never got off the ground for whatever reason. If it's going to happen at all, it'll likely be after the movie and after the A Chorus Line revival in 2006-2007. Bob Avian and John Breglio (the co-executors of Bennett's estate) are going to be entirely too busy in the mean time mounting the ACL revival to also oversee a Dreamgirls revival before then. Maybe 2007 - 2008?

Oh that's right...I completely forgot about the CHORUS LINE revival! I'm looking forward to that.

If the movie is successful, I wouldn't be surprised to see them jump into gear, likely with the new songs written for the film.
