Posted: 2/1/05 at 11:14amCostumes worn by cast of Take Me Out in the second act shower scene. Those are my favorite costumes and I would like every Broadway show to incorporate those costumes into at least one scene.

Posted: 2/1/05 at 11:56amThe Lion King costumes are simply amazing. I will never forget the costumes for Will Rogers Follies. They were jaw-dropping, especially the Diamonds for Mrs. Rogers sequence. I wish I could see it again.

Posted: 2/1/05 at 1:09pmI loved the costumes for the recent revival of Kiss Me Kate. I must say I enjoy William Ivey Long and I love Marty Pakldinaz. Also Clara's costumes in Passion and Ragtime, I just love that victorian era.

Marincrazy11, I am right with you on the Kiss Me Kate costumes, I
really love the style of that time.
The costumes from the original cast of Follies are breathtaking. In terms of the Weismann girls I mean.
I gotta stop thinking or I'll never leave this computer, but I also really enjoyed the costumes in City of Angels.

Some of my faves that havent been mentioned:
Hedwigs Entrance Costume with the Cape for Tear Me Down in Hedwig and the Angry Inch
Evelyn's Costume for Crime of the Century in Ragtime
Julie Halston as Electra in the Gypsy Revival
Isabel Keating's Judy Garland outfits/wigs in The Boy From Oz.
I thought I was actually watching Judy.

Posted: 2/1/05 at 5:04pmDont kill me but one of my favorites is Glinda's blue gown with all of the hand sewn beads on it. Also love her popular dress and Elphaba's curtain call dress. I also liked Millie's signature red dress, and penny and tracy's curtain call dresses while they sing "you cant stop the beat."

hands down 2nd Act opening of "Phantom"... it's like a carousel. It's amazing. I actually think that entire show has amazing costumes.
I Also think Beauty and the beast costumes are magical.
But, I'm a huge fan of RENT .. punk street clothes.

"...very disapointing."
How so? What were your expectations for them?
(I swear, I didn't mean for that to sound bitchy, I'm just curious
).
