I`m a big fan of Curb Your Enthusiasm and I LOVE the episoed when Larry plays Max on b`way in The Producers! I was wondering if he did it on b`way like for 1 night only or they just actually filmed it in the theatre with no audience and did the audience thing seperatly.

It was filmed on a Monday. The audience members are extras.

Oh! So he didn`t REALLY do it?

No, although it would have been great casting.

Yeah! He would be great in it! He says he HATES acting. He said he`s hates waiting for his lines and he`s not good at cues!
What do you guys think of David Schwimmer actually playing Leo on Broadway? Also, wasn't there another person they were thinking about to play Leo next to Larry David on Curb Your Enthusiasm...who was it?

I thought Schwimmer made a terrific Leo - from the few scenes depicted.
Ben Stiller is originally supposed to be Leo - but he quits because he can't stand Larry David - for several reasons. First, Larry won't shake his hand (he has just seen Ben sneeze into it), then, at a party, Larry pokes Ben in the eye with a bamboo skewer from an hors d'oeuvre, then, the final straw is when Ben gives larry a ride to rehearsal and, after dropping off Christine (Ben's wife), Larry refuses to move up to the front seat, making Ben feel like a chauffer.

Haha! Ben Stiller! But he quit because Larry wouldn`t sit in the front seat of the car! GOD! That show is HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! I didn`t like the way David played Leo. I wouldn`t have liked Ben either. I would KILL to see Denis O'Hare as Leo and Ernie Sabella as Max!
EDIT: I was in the process of writing this when Jon posted it!

Larry is a "Grown Man Baby!"
That last episode, where Larry actually performs, is one of the funnest episodes the show has done. Great cameo by Stephen Colbert as the guy who gives Larry bad luck on opening night. Other hilarious cameos include Nathan Lane, Jerry Seinfeld, and the late Anne Bancroft, recreating the Astor Bar scene from the original movie, with Mel.

Yeah that was the best episoed! Also Lee Wilkof played the guy in the lobby who yells at Larry for cuting in line!
