Looking on the Sister Act website and reading Patina Miller's Bio, I saw that she workshopped for American Idiot and Book of Mormon. Was she originally up for either Whatsername or Nabulungi?
Seeing a lot of footage of Sister Act rehearsals and the London production, I think she's amazing and cannot wait for this show.
Patina played The Extraordinary Girl when she was involved in AMERICAN IDIOT (Christina Sajous was also involved at that time, but she was in the ensemble.)
She was featured in the ensemble for THE BOOK OF MORMON. Nikki James has played Nabalungi since the very first reading.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
