Since the Tony's date has been set for June 6, when will tickets be released to the public? How do you obtain them?

I actually went to the Tony Awards last year. The tickets went on sale on TicketMaster on May 12, I remember because it was a day after my birthday, and you just go on Ticketmaster and see what you can get for whatever price you're willing to pay!
It's a Sunday night right? What kind of seats do the public get to chose from? Oh and finally what theatre is it going to be played at?
i know its going to be at Radio City Music Hall.

Well, the floor seats are like $700 my mom said last year. I was in the 2nd mezz. and loved every minute of it. It was one of the coolest experiences of my life!
It is on a Sunday night, and my train got delayed about 3 hours so I got home at 4:30 in the morning. Considering I woke up at 2:30 that afternoon, I didn't go to school that day...
When my friend and I went in 2002, we sat in the second tier of the mezzanine, and our tickets were $150 a piece. Let me tell you, it was worth every penny, because actually being there and experiencing the sheer electricity in Radio City on that night of nights not only makes for an evening you'll never forget, but you'll be ruined for life. Watching them on T.V. in 2003 just didn't compare

You can, however, ask about being a seat filler. Those are, I believe, either free or (at the least) much cheaper. However, it's nothing definite and can come down to a matter of hours before the awards start. But if you live in the City and are low on cash, it's worth a shot.
lol that reminds me of that year when Whoopie Goldberg was hosting the Academy Awards and Goldie Hawn had stepped out during a commercial. When Goldie had come back (and she was sitting in the third or fourth row) the show had already started again and the seat filler would not get up, or was having difficulty getting up. Whoopie said something like, "Goldie, what's going on?" and Goldie was laughing saying she was trying to get to her seat. And Whoopie said to the seat filler, "Girl, you had better get up out of her seat. Nobody is going to pay attention to me if she's walking around."
K, enough of my stupid trivia for the day,

Last year I was able to get the info from www.tonys.org... but I just checked the site and it does not have current info yet.
