Cheers for the info Jaqs but have booked my hotels already.

What I am going to do is, spend 2 nights in Vegas in The Venetian.

Then driving across the Mojave dessert to spend a couple of nights in The Grand Canyon.

The coming back to Vegas for a couple more nights, staying at Wynns. Do you know if this website allows you to have a look what they are selling that night?

I really appreciate the info you have provided me, especially the link for the other booth?

I stayed at Encore last summer and I'm now totally spoiled. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. All the rooms as suites and they often have specials for $119/night. The beds are the most comfortable I've ever experienced in my life. I want one for my home. We're not into clubs, so we didn't go to XS, but there was always a queue to get in (unless you are a group of young hot LA rich girls, then they let you right in). From the photos I've seen, it looks beautiful, but we're not into that sort of crowd or scene. I can't imagine we'd stay longer than 30 minutes.

The European pool at Encore is wonderful. We didn't see any nudity or anything, but it was great to have an adult-only pool that didn't have squealing children everywhere. Very relaxing and quiet. We took a tour of the spa and definitely want to hit that next time around.

They have the same pool at the Wynn where we stayed a few years ago. The Wynn was maybe the best we have stayed at. Their Buffett is out of this world & you can get comped for the Buffet really easily by playing the slots.

While waiting for Mrs R to exit the bathroom along the esplinade, I see Wynn walking with his bodyguard. I approach him & introduce myself telling him how much we enjoyed our stay. He was overly gracious and talked to us for about 5 minutes.He asked where we were from & smiled a little when we said that. It did not dawn on me to get my picture taken with him. Really class act both him & his hotel.

Back to the shows. The Beatle show Love is mind blowing & maybe the best of the Circque shows, We go back for trip # 8 to the Palazzo in August.
