this is my first posting, but i have been reading a lot of the message boards,and u all see very knowlegable about broadway in general.
so i was searching on my music downloader, and on a whim i searched for wicked, and it turns out that there are clips of wicked live, now it all seems pretty shady to me and i was wondering, how legal is that?

where did you see the clips of wicked being live? I know I went to Kristin's last performance and saw a bunch of cameras but I was assuming that was for her to remember the night by.

Usually bootleggers are smarter than waving their equipment around.

You usually won't notice them recording. And if you do, you don't really care.

OMG! You mean there are people who will go into a theatre and videotape a show???? That is so wrong! I mean, they should definately just wait a little while until they release profesionally done videos of the shows!

What's that you say? They DON'T release profesionally shot videos of the shows and that would be the only way that some people would ever get to see them and the producers are missing out on an enormous market by not doing it themselves? Is THAT what you're trying to say??
