Below is a pretty interesting collection of playbills I am offering for sale (or very compelling trades for pre-1990s playbills), they range from the 1960s to the present and include many off-Broadway and Broadway productions. Most of these except the very recent ones are from the personal collection of Lucie Arnaz and Lucille Ball so many are opening night, and a couple are signed some have notes from them scribbled on the cover or inside, etc. Most of them are original productions. NPH in Company Aug 3
2014, 02:57:01 PM
I'm obviously very late to the party, but I just watched the Philharmonic version of Company which has long been one of my favorite musicals. And I couldn't help but feel underwhelmed by NPH and really felt he was woefully miscast. Raul Esparza knocked my socks off when I saw him in it and the cast recording of him singing Being Alive still gives me chills. But for some reason NPH really didn't do it for me (I normally like him a lot), he seemed too nice and too happy and not in enough of a stat

ENRON the Play Starring Norbert Leo Butz, Stephen Kunken and Marin Mazzie Jun 25
2014, 02:41:49 PM
I saw it as well and thought it was quite fantastic. But it was very experimental, I think one of the more experimental things I've seen on Broadway in recent years, I think if it had been off-Broadway at a place like the Public or NYTW it would have sold out and would have been very buzzy...But, they needed a big house for the scope of the production design and set, it wouldn't have worked well without such boldness in that area. Butz was great and so was Kunken, but the biggest standout for me

I could see Mamie or Grace Gummer in it as well which could sweeten the deal for her to do it (Baker's Wife, Cinderella), that would really work well for everyone...

Well if you can't save a Broadway show, at least save Africa Feb 17
2011, 01:23:31 PM
Bono in South Africa http://www.buanews.gov.za/news/11/11021713151003 I know they've tried a lot to help the show, but it seems like Bono and Edge have been totally checked out for a while now, deemed this show beyond hope...

Dane Cook coming to Bway in FAT PIG this Spring Nov 18
2010, 09:12:09 PM
yes he is the most commercially successful comedian right now and he's in high demand. his handful of film roles however are not much to speak of and most of his film roles have been disasters. Say what you will but you can't dispute the fact that he's has a very commercially successful career.
