Years ago when I was an undergrad, Sunday In The Park had been out for a few months and I wanted to study a few vocal numbers in my voice studio. I wrote to Stephen Sondheim to inquire when the score might be published. Within two weeks, I received a package with a note from Stephen Sondheim explaining that the vocal selections or full score would not be out for months.
