I know this is not a movie (yet?), but I always wanted to see "The Love Boat" turned into a musical. The theme song is great and there is some really stupid story lines to make fun of. It is very limited in it's depth but I always love a comedy.
Some of you are probably too young to remember some of the story lines but one of my favourites is when (Senator) Gopher falls in love with Julie and sings "I only have eyes for you" in a tight fitting mexican outfit.

I just got cast in Dame Yankees as baseball player number 2 and one of the couples at one of our local theatre groups here in Otawa. :)

I am very sad to see that someone said that "Closer to Heaven" was bad. I would have loved to see it.
Also to the same person who said the above -- did see "Notre Dame de Paris" in the original French or in English. The French stage version, I think, would be a lot better than the English stage version. The songs are ten times better and they make more sense.
