JBroadway, that's really helpful thank you!

It'll be obvious I haven't seen the show if I don't have a playbill right? (Wish I could fit in seeing it )

Sometimes you can ask the security guys what to expect before the actors come out. The staff at the Booth was wonderful. Told us who would take pics and who would only sign which helps to avoid the awkward momemts of askeding and getting a no, or worst, ignored. Quinto doesn't do selfies- oh but Randells and Bomer were extrodinarily nice and seemed genuinely happy to do them.

Thank you!

Any thoughts on the first names thing?

Also, do you need to rush out of your seat and run round to the stage door after the show? Is it always obvious which way to go?!

I'm not seeing Andrew, I guess I'm specifically wondering about Katharine McPhee, Jim Parsons, Matt Bomer (who I'm sure will do pics if he's there and be lovely, fingers crossed) and possibly Joshua Jackson. I have tix to Waitress and Boys in the Band,

I'd love some basic advice too! I've never experienced the whole barricades etc thing in the UK.

Do you just tend to hold out your playbill and a pen and they sign automatically or do you ask for their autograph? And do you address by first names (eg. Hi Matt or Hi Mr Bomer)? Do you generally have chance to have a chat (and if so what on earth do you say except you were wonderful and I am such a huge fan?!)

Is it reasonable etiquette to ask for a pic?

Sorry for what I'

Playbills without seeing show? And CoALG stage door?
 May 20 2018, 10:00:28 AM
Hi! I'm coming to NYC for first time this week and have tickets to a couple of shows, but don't think I have time/money to also see Children of a Lesser God. But I would love to get a playbill signed by Joshua Jackson.

Is it possible to get/buy a playbill e.g. At the theater foyer without having a ticket to the show?

And does anyone know what Joshua is like at the stage door, does he usually come out, sign, do pics etc? Are there usually many people there?

Thank you s

TodayTix Rush tickets to Children of a Lesser God

Hi! I'm coming to NYC in a few weeks time and am interested in seeing Children of a Lesser God if I can get it cheap. I see that theatre rush tix are only for students, but TodayTix has rush tix for $30 (presumably for anyone). Does anyone know where these seats are? (Today Tix are also selling seats in advance for $39 but they are not in a good position and I'm not interested if the Rush tix are in the same place!) Thank you!
Help - presales and Booth Theatre questions

Thank you! I eventually decided to go with row B mezzanine on the aisle, hopefully it will be good!!

Thanks for the recommendation - can I ask why you'd choose that one? Is the mezzanine not quite a long way away from the actors/feels detached? And quite a high bar to look over at the front?

(My accessibility issues aren't bad enough to require wheelchair so I'd feel bad taking specific wheelchair/transfer seats - I should likely be ok with any aisle seat which both row M and Row B mezzanine seem to have ATM for our dates.)

I am kicking myself that I didn't

Thank you, I guess I should have booked earlier if they were selling other rows, I just wasn't sure we'd be able to manage the trip.

I do have some accessibility issues but I couldn't see how to access those sorts of tickets? Do they do free companion tickets for disabled carers like they do in the UK for any Broadway shows?

Have you been to the Booth? Is row M any good for those who want to be close to the actors/good view for short people?

Hi from a Broadway newbie - never even been to the USA before - please help!

I am looking at the pre-sales for the Boys in the Band at the Booth Theatre and wondering whether to buy tickets through that or to wait for general sale? I want to get tickets in the centre orchestra around rows D-H, but the best available on presale is row M, or the mezzanine (row B). I think I would prefer orchestra as I like to feel close to the actors and I don't like to look over the barrier for the
