Now that’s the best new! We have tickets for April, and it’ll be our first time seeing the show. Glad to hear Mason is up there in those leagues! I figur

MAYBE HAPPY ENDING Reviews

There’s a video going around from Darren’s “last” curtain call, where he brought Andrew on stage, said many nice things about him, thanked him for doing this big favour for him, and passed the charger along to him.

As I scrolled through social media this morning, I came across the news and gasped “oh my god”. My partner thought something bad happened.

Per Martin Landry, it was not. It has happened once before, though he did not specify the combination. I think it may have been an Abe/Teacher combination because (first term) Conrad had his bike accident and was out for a bit and James got sick around the same time. A Louise

The WGA is speaking out, especially about the suspicious timing. Calling for an investigation. Paramount is not going to hear the end of this.

For me the biggest loss is the mob stuff. That’s just such a fun part of the show, building up to the big fight. And Be Our Guest. I can’t stand the changes made to that number.

We all know musicals are not written these days for vocal health. Audiences want high notes, belting, and vocally exciting scores. That’s what the modern ear yearns for these days.

I think the standard that was set in the past and still expected is just not realistic for most actors, who just like any athlete, needs to rest and rehabilitate their muscles.

I hope broadway will start to seriously consider a better and healthier way forward

I believe many things have been deleted over time, but here's examples I'd categorize as being rude or cruel.

2025 Tony Awards Reactions Thread

I think what this thread has shown, is that the majority of posters on these boards, this broadway community, is not very in tune with what the larger public are interested in, or are drawn to.

Of course Hamilton was a huge draw, and frankly it was thrilling to watch them all reunite. This is a beloved show, and a beloved cast. And it’s the kind of show that many people know on a broader level.

They've announced a handful of dates through the the 2025-2026 season.

The show pagefor Broadway in Ottawa includesphotos/videos of the current North American tour cast;if it were to be going non-equity they wouldn't be allowed to use those and they'd be featuring media from one the international productions.

Well that’s good news. I’d be okay with Vancouver getting the show then.

Is Rudin alone in his behavior? Maybe, maybe not. I’ve seen/heard/experienced some lousy people and some wonderful ones, but I personally haven’t seen anyone get items thrown at their head or glass shattered out of anger. Doesn’t mean it’s not happening though!

But—why does this lighten our feelings on Rudin? Shouldn’t

Certain people just get away with everything. Especially if you are rich, and a man.

We don’t have power to stop him from coming back, so now it’s up to the community to keep him accountable, especially the big names who will work with him.
