We saw him this past Tuesday, I was underwhelmed. After seeing David Cook in August, Mark's vocals were disappointing.  He sang the words and hit the notes, but the caliber of his voice not in league with a real Broadway belter.  He basically couldn't fill the theater with a full, rich sound as well as missing a lot of the texture that brings on the emotional reaction the songs are meant to evoke (especially notable in "Soul of a Man". I also wasn't a fan of his portrayal of the Charlie character. He lacked the kind of quirky awkwardness that makes Charlie lovable. Again, David nailed the acting and characterization and Mark was a little too smooth and suave for my taste.
