"Annie" was my first show on Broadway - I was 16... that show was an obsession for me from the time I saw the "tease" on the Tonys until I saw it at the Alvin theatre seven months later! It was fantastic! Saw the original Broadway cast and I was so enthralled by Dorothy Loudon that I wrote her a seven page letter that night, going into painful detail of my first theatre experience (waiting for tickets, analyzing lyrics, etc.) Three weeks later, I received a signed head shot and a personal let

I'm on the "Liza One-Note" bandwagon, and the Merman-Martin parody, when Merman says "Swell! Wasn't that Swell? Now, who'd like to hear ME sing a duet?" LOVED IT!

We were just talking about this the other day - I think "9 to 5" would make a great musical - very juicy women parts, etc., etc.
