Congrats to everyone at Moulin Rouge...well-deserved!

Why the hate for moulin rouge

Because NY theater-goers are truly special people.

Which shows will Covid-19 end?

Would be quite ironic if most of the shows left standing are the ones that the NY community spent years shunning.

SIX Broadway Reviews?

A little "back-to-normal" reading distraction for this crazy week:

Guardian calls it an "empty pop spectacle":

Imagine how many more times you would have seen it if you liked the show.

Wouldn't a "global phenomenon" be at 100% attendance and gross potential?

Gotta say, the album reeled me in but don't think it was worth what I paid for. Certainly enjoyable, but would have gotten my money's worth if this was a $50 ticket at some venue downtown...or a 54 Below type set-up.

I know it's network TV but I would have loved to see them do the whole opening number...gotta win that lottery soon!

Even though it wouldn't explain the point of the post, I have to believe he's not being serious. But if you are dude, then just get her a pair of Can-Can seats and figure out a Plan B.

Moulin Rouge is a must-see. About adding Jagged Little Pill...if you're a big Alanis fan you may be disappointed.

If you were to rank these shows......

After seeing their performances on different TV shows, I'm inclined to think Hadestown would be at the bottom of my list.

This was heartbreaking. I waited, and waited (and waited) for this show and was expecting it to be this epic masterpiece, but it just didn't do it for me. Agree the album deserves better. Oh well, let's see what happens at Tina...

One night, one show...which one?

If it's in your budget, Moulin Rouge all the way!!!

Moulin Rouge brings in $60 million so far

I know. Too many fun pop songs. How awful. They should have cut out some of the hits and sprinkled in some forgettable original tunes. This is Broadway, after all.
