Broadway Lottery Shows

Hello, everyone!
I'd like to meet up with other theatre enthusiasts, in town or out of towners. I'm in the city a lot, going to see shows. Sometimes I buy my tickets ahead of time, and sometimes I go in on the fly and take my chances with a lottery or TKTS.
Sometimes I thought that maybe there were enough of us around on the same day, we could increase each other's chances for the lottery. I'm trying to come with a fair way of doing it.
