Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 1/4/26
 Jan 6 2026, 06:35:50 PM

ST had the biggest drop of all the shows in one of the busiest week so that's an indicator of the coming collapse during winter time imo.

Also season 5 part 2 has not been kindly received in terms of WOM so I don't see legs to this finale. And it might affect the Broadway show even more.

I still see this show closing this year

Jennifer Lopez Sings Broadway
 Jan 3 2026, 09:36:26 AM

You DO realize she's lip synching most of those Broadway songs, right? You can clearly see it when she's lipping 'Let me entertain you' when the mic goes away

She can't keep up a full show singing live, let alone a Broadway show 8 times a week

This Oscar Season Don’t Forget About ‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’
 Dec 29 2025, 03:12:49 PM

This movie is expected to hit HULU in early 2026. And honestly up to this point the whole cast and crew forgot this movie ever existed

What's next for the St. James ?

I would not rule out Celine being one of the producers for this Broadway transfer. She needs to keep her legacy alive and this could work as her own jukebox musical... I still think it's a terrible decision. The show is a spoof, fun but not good imo

Titanique Broadway transfer is rumored to be announced this week

Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 11/30/25

So it seems ST season 5 premiere had some effect on First Shadow and it got it's highest grossing week since opening in April. Now is this enough to sustain it after the holidays? I still see this show closing in 2026

ABBA Voyage Plans Global Second Venue on Hell’s Kitchen’s 11th Avenue
 Nov 28 2025, 09:54:37 AM

I thought they were aiming for Vegas since tit has better chances for a hologram concert. But I suppose the decline in Vegas over the past few years influenced their decision to change the location. The show has been a massive hit in the UK but also Abba has always been way more popular in Europe so I don't know how it'll do in the US. My biggest concern is ticket price in NYC tbh.

It might find its audience, I know I'd like to see it at least once. I heard great thing

Netflix just raised their rates again. In the time it's taken me to type this post, they've made enough money to pay for another 6 months of the show.
"

Most likely because season 5

If Stranger Things does not pick up this month, then it'll be gone by January. It'd be pointless for Netflix to keep hemorrhaging money on a concluded TV series. So what's next for The Marquis?

Will The Lost Boys Break Broadway's Vampire Musical Curse?
 Oct 30 2025, 05:51:08 PM

It's hard to predict but I don't see a bright future for this production. They should have given an out of town try out first before comitting to Broadway imo. I believe they're relaying on The Outsiders success, but that one got a good WOM in San Diego.

This musical seems to be someone's vanity project, too expensive, risky, and based on a movie not many people is familar with.

The Great Diane Keaton has passed away..

So so sad :( A true icon

'The Family Stone' gets me everytime. Rip Diane!

Jamie Lloyd on Evita coming to Broadway "trying to find a theatre with a balcony"
 Sep 29 2025, 02:51:15 PM

I don't think this scene would work in the US tbh. It's a way more dangerous environment than the UK. I'm not saying they won't find a way to do it, but doing it on a open space without security... a big no for me!

Could Mamma Mia be stealing audience members from other Jukebox musicals like Hell's kitchen and &Juliet? I see HK wrapping up by the end of the year.

How Bad Will the Kennedy Center Honors Be

Probably a dumb question but if you turn this honor down, will you ever be considered again?

This! I hope it falls into oblivion after it closes

2025-2026 Broadway Season

'Midnight in the garden of good and evil'  is still set for 2025, does anyone know the status of that musical?

REAL WOMEN HAVE CURVES To Close June 29, 2025
 Jun 17 2025, 12:39:19 PM

Happy trails to the entire cast and creatives! That Tony performance was simply awful and it didn't change my mind to buy a ticket

Scherzinger getting a residency in Las Vegas?
 Jun 16 2025, 11:08:55 AM

Doesn't she need an actual catalogue of songs for that? No offense but her most memorable songs are from The Pussycat dolls, is she even allowed to sing them?
