I was in the Brazilian company of Grease, and it included both songs from the show and film, it worked pretty well.

I did the Brazilian tour of the show, and having performed in 3 different productions of Grease, this one in Brazil was just a bit different. It incorporated the songs from the film and also added a tougher more realistic take on a somewhat fluffy show. I actually like the show, there is a lot of room for interpretation.

I forget the title to the number, but..BIG has a great "make my coffee black" song, it deals with toy production form idea to presentation.

When I saw the first national of Les Mis in Boston back in 87 I think, the scrim started to go up before its cue and I saw the Wedding Guests scramble into place. Maybe the fly-guy thought he was doing 42nd Street!
