This article made me so happy. I am baffled that so many posters on this board aren't blown away but this fantastic piece of theater.
What do most posters on BW do for living?

This show was so good I can actually forgive The Roundabout for Bye Bye Birdie. My sides still hurt from laughing!

Starlight was at the Hilton (as was the Star Trek experience). I saw it; scaled down with the races shown on video.

Wildcard - I agree with all of your choices completely! Just thinking of the carousel during the Overture of Carousel gives me goosebumps.

I always thought that Tim Rice was secretly poking fun at Madonna with these lyrics.

I saw the show with Idina and Kristen and frankly, they WERE the show. I am baffled why pople enjoy Wicked. The book that the show was based on was brilliant. The book of this musical is spotty, the lyrics juvenile and the music not much better than something off a Britney Spears album. After seeing the new poduction of Sweeney which IS truly spectacular, I fear for the future of musical theater if Wicked is the best we have to offer.

Sweeney, without a doubt!

Without a doubt SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE. Her maturity in voice and acting ability are truly at their peak.
