I saw the show seven (SEVEN) times ... we were running around the streets, running in to bars, telling everyone we knew to go and see it. and so ... the story goes from a Seth's Chatterbox ... the design team was on the phone here in the states with the people who were going to be executing the designs overseas ... they said "we want the sets to look like GREASE" and they were all, like, "oh, okay, Greece" ... and that's why the set looked like that.

Rebecca Luker's LEAVING HOME CD Mar 16
2004, 02:48:09 PM
LEAVING HOME drops today and Rebecca Luker has come out with (IMHO) one of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard(http://www.psclassics.com/cd_luker.html)(http://www.rebeccaluker.com). It is masterfully arranged, beautifully produced, with delicate and careful accompaniment by Chirstopher McGovern (http://members.aol.com/bearluvva/) and it's full of lush and lovely folk songs (Joni Mitchell, Janis Ian, Carly Simon, Billy Joel, Amanda McBroom (Ophelia, SO gorgeous), John Lennon and Paul McCartney with a few other songs by Christopher McGovern, Bill Castellino & Bill Whitefield, Rusty Magee and a duet of "Wick" with Alison Fraser (http://www.alisonfraser.com/), Luker's castmate from The Secret Garden (http://www.imagi-nation.com/moonstruck/albm70.html). Rebecca will be at a CD signing on March 24, 5-7 PM at Theatre Circle (http://www.broadwaynewyork.com/), 268 W. 44th Street. Again, IMHO, this woman's breath control is exceeded only by her completely centered and perfect pitch. I think this album is a delight and a blessing and I hope you find so too.

IMHO you know i'd rather walk across my tongue than criticize someone but Michael is young and this moment in the show is not his greatest. he's REALLY great in what i'd had in mind and the new "take" on two different worlds is fantastic. granted, mark could have had him cross ABOVE the piano to sing I Can Hold You to joe, instead choosing to have him cross down ... i feel like the reviewer is being overly sensitive in saying he makes no reference to joe whatever, that's not true ... michae

IMHO Allison is amazing. She's been on Les Miz tour (locket hag), Titanic tour, Return to the Forbidden Planet, Forbidden Hollywood & Broadway, Jacques Brel, understudied and went on for Sally Mayes in Pete 'n' Kelly, tons of regional stuff. She's always electric and amazing.
If you’re a fan of David Friedman’s compositions, singing or playing then you’re going to need an oxygen tank and a hankie the size of a bath sheet for this "show".
