That King Kong cake was was really cool too. I was reading on their website that their min. order on a cake is $500. I just cannot fathom spending that on a birthday cake.

I am totally addicted to Ace of Cakes. How about the Hogwarts castle or the EMT armadillo?! I didn't think those looked like high school projects...

I'm honestly not sure. At the show they had his cd and Rachel York's...but they were really promoting his.

Every song is basically amazing, but I have a soft spot for Edelweiss. It's an audience participation song, but when he comes in I absolutely melt. His "Soliloquy" is pretty impressive too. The cd is cool because he tells a lot of personal stories on it.

I have the concert CD (its great) and I've seen the one with the love songs advertised on his website, but I've never been able to order it.

I've never seen the show, but the music is amazing. My favorite version that I have come across has to be the 2003 benefit. Perfection.

I kind of liked the character intros, it let me know if I'd be missing anything. (I was running back and forth to The Sopranos)

Why don't you just go the first weekend and see if you like it enough to return? Then you still have enough time to get rid of them if you decide to.

After hearing all this I'm glad I saw it in Detroit. I pretty much agree with everything everyone else has already said-that James and Rachel are the reasons to see the show. I find it sad that James won't be returning to the stage (oh that voice!)but as already mentioned I'm sure it has a lot to do with his recent legal problems. Too bad...he was a really nice guy.

Something Bad-Wicked Most children's solo songs-Tomorrow, Castle on a Cloud...you get the idea. ETA: They aren't necessarily "bad" songs, I just cannot stand them.
