Imagining the design of the finale with more money is enough for me to want them to write the checks now

I saw it last night and I loved it. The energy is amazing. I’d say the first 45 minutes or so and the ending are perfection. The middle could use a bit of tightening. Amber Iman is a literal goddess and deserves her mid show ovation. I hope it transfers (with a little work).

BIG is a really great, underrated Maltby & Shirescore.

Yes I’d love to see Big in the line up. Everything Susan Lawrence sings is great IMO

My new thought is her new song “Girl in the bubble” happens later than I’d originally guessed-after For good. While she’s getting ready to tell Oz bout Elphie’s death. Putting on the crown, revisiting the attic where they sang defying gravity, etc

MHE needs Helen onstage IMO. In I think a discord group someone posted something that made it look like they were doing Rainy Day We Met.

DBH I think should be a brief If you want perfection into Alive Forever

OM I think should do Making a Man cuz for me it’s the bop of the show.

To be fair, the end of act 1 is also a procession of anthems (New Music, Wheels of a Dream, and finally Till We Reach That Day).

I love the show but in recent yea

I liked seeing this a lot. I don’t think I like the show itself but it is pretty fascinating. And I really like the way they’ve chose to stage this-minimal but with specific interesting choices that elevate the action. I think I’m now rooting for Jeremy to win.

Anne Hathaway - Broadway Next Season?

Interestingly recently I was thinking about who I’d liked to see in a Ragtime movie and I thought of Anne for Mother. I don’t think she could do it live tho

Featured Actress in a Musical contenders?

I saw Buena Vista this week. I saw Natalie’s understudy so maybe I can’t say with 100% certainty but I was more impacted by Isa Antonetti’s act 2 number than anything from older Omara

Someone must've seen this thread because I came dressed to sweat in my mezz seat and ended up shivering in my winter coat. So, happy to report the AC issue has been sorted.

Also, the show and Snook are amazing. Unlike anything I've seen before.Agree with the poster above, I can't imagine her not winning.

I feel like Caroline (while amazing vocally) is having a harder time matching her predecessors—especially in Just keep moving the Line.
