I saw this a few days back and WOW it is one of the best new musicals to come out in years. So innovative, smart, beautiful, charming, and cohesive. I feel like the biggest thing new musicals miss is the cohesive box and this one knows what it is and it works so well. The set is phenomenal. The story is sweet. The songs are great. Just go

I was literally like where is Lea for half of it. It was very disappointing.

I liked Idina’s performance tho. Thought she sounded good

Good thing the Outsiders cast has experience performing in the rain 

I miss the days when all the Broadway performances back to back opened the parade. There’s too much useless chit chat in the first hour now

Those costumes really look like they’re from a store…I’m totally down for not doing the standard Elf movie costumes but this looks like what the elves at a department store wear 

 

edit: maybe I’m confused cuz it’s the finale arrangement-are these the costumes for the department store not the North Pole elves?

I mean Corey Cott’s arms were the star of Heart of Rock & Roll for a reason
