I will probably do much better on my NCAA bracket than the BWW bracket - ha ha.

I don't know about some of these matchups. It hurts to be losing Man of La Mancha, Evita, Nine, Fun Home, etc. this early. They could have lasted longer paired with different musicals.
Pinning Les Mis against Phantom just hurts my heart!
Also - there are many upsetting omissions. No Ragtime, Next to Normal, Caroline or Change, Wicked, etc?

This only the last 64 Best Musical Tony winners and they're in order of years. That's how Phantom and Les Miz ended up next to each other.

Ok that makes sense. Yikes I feel stupid
Cats being ahead of La Cage makes me want to throw my phone into a wall. Ha.
Kinda surprised more people like Hairspray than Avenue Q

After reading the summary, you will find it to be an inspiring and intriguing read. Sad that I won't have the opportunity.
It's the young 'uns that do t know it.- esp since there's no movie.
Hmmmm... It's Thursday, when is the next round actually opening?

I think it starts tomorrow. Last week started on a Friday, so it would make sense for round 2 to open tomorrow.

Do people like Company that much more than A Little Night Music? Or have not that many people voted yet?
Poor City of Angels. It really does need an A+ revival.

That surprised me, too. Not that Company is winning but that it's winning in such a landslide. I've actually never seen either one but I've listened to the cast recordings for both and I much prefer ALNM's score to Company's.

I loved "City of Angels", but it did not stand a chance in that matchup - lol

Will be interesting to see who wins the "In the Heights" vs "Book of Mormon" vote.
The dead even 50-50 split currently between Sound of Music and Fiddler is an exciting race.
Elsewhere, everything I voted for is winning save for Book of Mormon, and I don’t mind too much because I also love In the Heights.

I was really surprised not to see Phantom when I joined in on Round Two. Was it seriously eliminated after round one??
You guys....come on now....!
I don't know what world I'm living in when The Sound of Music is beating Fiddler on the Roof soundly. Sigh--
I always expected that my fave HADESTOWN would go down to HAMILTON in any cage match so no surprise that the mob doesn't agree with me there.
I do apologise, but I have never seen Fiddler On The Roof. When I was a child I played my Sound Of Music album a million times. I still love those songs.

It looks like my Carmen Ghia is going out in this round so that will be my major interest in this poll gone.

I believe it lost to Les Miserables in the first round.

Maybe they can do this again but with more musicals in some kind of ranked choice system so you end up with a more even bracket.
