Where do theatre companies get the scores then? Am I not able to retrieve it myself without purchasing the rights? I want to have the entire character off book before my audition.

Where can I purchase the complete vocal musical score for a show?
I am looking for Kiss Of The Spider Woman. There is a vocal selections score but it doesn't include the song I'm looking for: Marta.

I am looking for a vocal range for the character of Valentin in Kiss Of The Spider Woman..I don't have the libretto, only vocal selections. On the various recordings his songs are sung in different keys. Brian Mitchell only reaches for an F# in Marta whereas Crivello reaches for a pianissimo high A! Mitchell only reaches for a G in The Day After That. Crivello again a commendable baritone A.
