Kiss Me Kate: "I would gladly give up coffee for Sanka Even Sanka, Bianca for you..." GAH! and there's this one word in "Magic to Do" from Pippin that no matter where you breathe or how you try to say the darn thing it always comes out as two words - i think it's "journey, journey to a spot eh-exciting, mystic and exotic..." I went and thought it was great - I mean, Guys and Dolls is not the deepest musical ever but this version is done really well and it's a really fun night of theatre, I would def suggest going to see it.
p.s. of course Karen is fabulous

re: Idina's Moment... Jun 9

I saw it for the first time last night - and what a night to go see it!!! it was wonderful and I thought the audience wasn't going to let Idina start her first number...she had so much entrance applause! The whole show really blew me away, I thought it was fabulous and it was really cool to know that I was watching a recent Tony award winner along with a great great cast. Both Kristen and Idina were really wonderful- it was one of the best theatre experiences i've had in a really long time. <

If anyone's a fan of Guys and Dolls or just loves old school cheesy musicals, Papermill Playhouse (in Millburn NJ) has got a fabulous production of the show running right now (w/ Karen Ziemba)
It's not my favorite musical but made for a night of good theatre
so go on down and see it!
