I was playing in B-Way pit for Sound of Music (perc/drumset) a few years back. It was the veranda scene in A2 ~ Frau Schmidt was turning to leave after the captain dumps her, when she turned, she missed the first stair on the steps and wiped OUT. I mean she went DOWN HARD! WHAM! The audience gasps, she picks herself up and hobbles off. Max completely forgets to make his entrance on stage; Maria’s mic isn’t working so she is being bombarded by the audio team, so the captain is left to ad lib
