 Sep 14 2008, 04:58:30 PM

The Megamusical by Jessica Sternfeld
It is a great look at the megamusicals of the 80's and the early 90's. The only problem is it gets very technical about the musical structures and mofits which can be a little confusing.

I really like Roosevelt Petrucius Coleslaw from Caroline, or Change. I think that it really fits the show, and yet it is still a great song to listen to.

As far as I know there have been productions when the Emcee is a female, and (correct me if I am wrong) I think the authors originally imagined the Emcee as a woman.
