It would seem a number of people share our concerns regarding Rob Mills and the bizarre casting of 2 former Australian Idols. Somebody has formed a Facebook group called 'We're worried about Wicked in Australia'. In just a few days it has already got over 200 members

I was hoping after he was booted off Australian Idol we would never have to see Rob Mills again. Why won't he just disappear? It's funny how the same producers can make such a great casting decision with Amanda and Lucy as the 2 leads but at the same time make the WORST CASTING DECISION EVER with Rob 'Millsy' Mills!

I can't play that video for some reason! Every time I click on the link another video plays instead. It is driving me insane! By the way I just wanted to again mention how much of a tool I think John Frost is for casting not one but TWO ex-Australian Idol finalists. Anthony Callea fine. Rob Mills NOT FINE!!!!

What a disgraceful decision. How can you say that casting 2 ex-Australian Idol contestants from a few years ago could possibly bring in large crowds? I don't think Rob Mills was a major drawcard even in his 'heyday'. But now?!?!

Can I just say how thrilled I am with the casting of Amanda and Lucy as the 2 witches. After watching that Sunrise clip of them (thanks for posting that by the way) you can see how perfect they are! I also read recently that Amanda Harrison played Ellen in the recent Miss Saigon. I was so excited to read this as I remember thinking she was brilliant. Her voice was so powerful and she was such a great actress. She will be an incredible Elphaba I have no doubt. And one look at Lucy and you can see

I heard a rumour that Anthony Callea turned down the role of Boq. What amazes me about this is that the producers were actually wanting to cast not one but TWO previous Australian Idol contestants. What a disgrace. Based on their current decisions I have put together a list of other B grade celebrities of the same standard of Rob Mills that they might also like to cast. Anything to get a bit of publicity right? Doesn't matter if they don't have any talent, as long as they have appeared

"from millsy's blog Got some big news for you guys soon too so keep watching the website www.robmills.net.au for the update. lets hope the news isn't what we are all dreading" That sounds very, very ominous. I gotta say I feel like crying. I have been looking forward to Wicked for so long and now that they have possibly cast Rob Mills it is basically ruined for me. How can I get excited about seeing the show when I know he's in it? Why on earth would they do this? I am so angr
