Well the VIP tickets sold out in 10 minutes, so the demand is there! Too rich for me, but I got my regular ticket

People keep saying this is new, the con may be new, but the people who run it have been doing highly successful cons for years. There are thousands of people that have had amazing experiences at these cons and a lot of them are Broadway fans who are excited and already planning on going.
I guess it is a good thing people on here aren't interested. I would rather go to a con with the people who have gone to past Leaky Cons and are excited and enthusiastic people, than the cynics who fee

Already booked the hotel for this. LeakyCon was amazing and the people who run it do a great job. If nothing else, it will be 48 hours of being around people who get the passion and the love of Broadway. Where we aren't the weird ones and loving something so enthusiastically is totally cool.
It won't be for everyone, but I know it will be great for me.
