HONEYMOON IN VEGAS struggling on Broadway

Doing my part to get it to 1000 posts.

Maybe, despite the huge disappointment, this will save Tony Danza from continuing to spend his own money, which he supposedly was injecting into this show for at least a month now, in addition to what he initially invested.

Of course, I feel sympathy for the entire cast, but it's Tony who has much more limited options, which I don't quite understand, because if Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry can keep landing lucrative TV seri

South FL Marc, switching the roles, that's a good idea, really.

Even more fun, forget the normal auditions and have a whole new TV competition and the winner gets to play the up-and-comer. Judges can be women already stars who have already, publicly, "helped" their husbands or boyfriends go from aspiring to successful.

Okay, maybe too much coffee for me this morning.

Happy for Tony Danza, assuming this becomes an actual nomination, but seems a bit disingenuous. If Tony Danza is a featured actor, then Rob McClure should also be a featured actor. Assuming neither of them is the lead actor.

Is there history of no leading actor in a musical but more than one featured actor?

Back off, as far as my figuring out how to post properly. I already apologized for not knowing how to do it, asked how to do it, and did what people told me to do. Dead issue. What's your problem, that you have to comment on what I tried to fix and did fix?

And, if this show gets a Best Musical nomination, then there is a dearth of musicals in the mix, and something seriously wrong with the nominating process.

Great comment.

No, they do not declare bankruptcy unless they formed a company for the sole purpose of investing in this show and the company cannot pay its bills when due and/or its liabilities exceed its assets and it cannot pay its debts. Unlikely. Just writing off the loss is good enough. Gets a bit complicated; you can form many companies, and try to isolate them all from each other in case some become legally bankrupt and others are profitable; but it's not always that easy. L

A majority of the people/groups who put up money for a show are no longer "producers" in the traditional definition. They have no input into any artistic decisions. They used to always be called "angels" not producers, and did not get listed in the PlayBill or anywhere else.

PhillyPinto, did you keep the PlayBill? How many producers are listed? Just curious.

I've read that you can be a "producer" for some shows for as little as $5000. That gets you into the game, a few f

Just curious, because I have not seen the show. Only a few clips online.

Does Tony Danza appear, on stage, to be the right age for this part, next to Brynn O'Malley who should be close to his age, and Rob McClure who should be at least 10 years older for the Jack Singer part?

Also, why is Tony Danza's tap dancing worthy of the praise from some reviews? Is it because nobody thought he could do it at all, or because he's very good?

Will Lea just fade away when Glee ends?

I was so impressed by her during the first 2-3 seasons of Glee. For her vocals. And, a decent actress, not that it was a real stretch to play her part.

Maybe there's something about working with her that has held her back. Or, maybe she doesn't have the confidence, or the ambition, that she was presumed to have. Or, maybe she's just not with the right management team.

And, it's kind of interesting that her character on the show is someone who firmly believes that she is a
