I just saw it yesterday and I agree - it was well written and well acted, but I still found it a little slow at times. I also admit I went in thinking i was going to be more of a comedy than it was. Funny at times, but far more dark and seri

I thought the cast was very good, although I hated the character who came up with the concept. Hewas portrayed as a socially inept goon, and I just di

I agree with this 100%. She’s never had a filter and she can’t help herself. That’s not an excuse at all, just a fact.

First, thank you. This got a true LOL.
Second, and to the point of this post - while I think it is tempting to want to out people and urge for some kind of boycott, I think that is more a knee jerk reaction more than anything, and ultimately incredibly harmful. We don’t have to go too far back in our country’s history to see

The premise is essentially that through a series of plot contrivances, a professional dancer (Tam Mutu) who'd been teaching ballroom on the

The finale's music is fromHMS Pinafore("He Is An Englishman") but the lyrics were newly written for this production. I also saw it yesterday, and had a wonderful time. Kudos to David Hyde Pierce for soldiering on at the top of Act II when (apparently) the use of stage fogtriggered an alarm

I saw this yesterday and really liked it - so much fun! DHP is fabulous and made for this role. He had the audience in stitches and played to that wonderfully, I thought Ramin and Nicholas were excellent as well. I liked Samantha - she's a great actress with a great voice, but for some reason she didn't resonate as much - but still so good. Jinx was also hysteric

Saw this last night. Agee the direction was not great. To be honest (we got tickets because my daughter loves this show, but my husband and I knew nothing about the premise of the show going in) we were slightly confused. We found it meandering and disjointed. I wanted to like the

I don’t think Darren is getting enough credit for his performance. He’s not a powerhouse singer, but this role doesn’t call for that. He plays this perfectly, exactly as you’d expect a robot to walk, move, and talk. All with so much heart. We saw 5 shows and this was my favorite."

Patti LuPone called a privileged, racially microaggressive bully by Hell's Kitchen cast member Nov 5

I think this is the truth, at the core, and is an issue throughout society right now. This has nothing to do about how the situation was handled (which I personally - someone who believes direct face to fact conversation will always be better than either public statements or even off-handed remarks to another person, not involved) but has to do with anyone telling another person how they should feel. This is continually done - how a black person ought to feel, how a Jewish person out to

THE OUTSIDERS Opening Night Critics’ Reviews Jun 12

I went last night, and I also want to say that this was one of the best behaved audiences I have seen in a long while. There were several larger school groups, and it was refreshing to see them dressed nicely and knowing how to act at a show.
I was with four others, including two college kids who were apprehensive about seeing the show because they loved the book so much. Consensus post show was that it was enjoyable but nothing special and the four out of five who read thee book

Twizzlers and M & Ms-why dear god? May 29

I’ll see your Twizzlers and M&Ms and raise you…..yesterday at Sweeney Todd, we had a couple in front of us who kissed every five seconds and another person who was eating some sort of candy, and thus rustling the package continuously. Finally at intermission, we said to the couple, Glad you are so in love, but you realize every time you kiss, you block our view. As my daughter said, who knew Sweeney Todd was such a turn on.

The songs were awful, the supporting was awful, and the fact they changed the story so most of the children were killed on stage (including watching a young character get dismembered limb from limb by giant dancing squirrels?!) was appalling. At the end I wish I'd left earlier.

I had the pleasure of seeing this yesterday. I truly enjoyed it. The acting was fabulous. I don’t know if Ms. Linney and Ms. Hecht are friends in real life, but they have a true connection on stage that was believable, poignant and real. It is 100% worth seeing this play.
The one small aside I will be interested in seeing as more people see the show is whether you have to have been through a similar friendship to feel the depths of their narrative. This is not to say others can&r
