so i'm a lil irked as i've been reading up on Chris Columbus's films. With the exception of Stepmom, i don't know of any examples of any indications of RENT coming out the way it should. there's home alone, mrs. doubtfire, the harry potter films, and the icing on the cake, bicentennial man. i'm crossing my fingers.

i just haven't heard britanny murphy sing, and she's just so anemic looking, she wouldn't strike me as someone joanne and mark would be lusting over. someone ditsy but intuitive is needed, and britanny is just ditsy. but yeah, i hope it comes out great too.

i'm surprised no one has suggested neil patrick harris for mark. i can totally see latifa as joanne, being a power house, great actress, and has portrayed a militant lesbian in set it off. jai rodriguez would be my first choice for angel. fantasia barrino and frenchy davis of AI notoriety can totally be a part of the company--not to mention, frenchy has joined the nederland cast. jon bon jovi as roger is a stellar idea. he's a rock icon, sexy, and a great actor. maureen needs to be a lot s
